John and I have a travel bar set and adore to tote it along on our car trips (it’s also challenging to take on flights these days) – no, we don’t use it while driving but, following a lengthy and dusty road trip, after you are in the hotel, a cold martini will in no way taste better. Being eight, Avery is the excellent age to get excited about Junior Ranger Programs, so a trip to Joshua Tree National Park is on the itinerary. I’ve heard that the bloom of the trees is spectacular this year, and we’ll make it just in time, I am considering.
